Identity

Commissioned by Levitt Bernstein

As part of an upgrade of Wandsworth Road, Lubna Chowdhary worked with Levitt Bernstein Landscape Architecture to redevelop two key public spaces, the entrance to Larkhall Park and a pedestrian area between Union Street and Albion Avenue. ¶ The project was awarded a grant from Arts and Business to fund the development of distinctive designs which formed a strong identifiable character and added detail to elements within the site. Both sites use a distinct design vocabulary through shapes, spaces and material, providing points of orientation, and inviting further investigation of spaces along Wandsworth Road.
