Cristea Roberts Gallery Prints

Lubna Chowdhary unveils her first suite of woodblock prints for Cristea Roberts Gallery. Lubna has chosen to combine meticulously registered woodblock with etching; the resulting images relate to her paintings, the colours and gloss to ceramic glazes, but ultimately, they are borne of the unique combination of copper, wood, ink and paper.
The prints and her new ceramic works will be on display in the group exhibition 'Ways of Making, Ways of Thinking' (19 September - 18 October 2025)

Optical Flow. Tideway Greenwich

Lubna Chowdhary has completed a new artwork - Optical Flow - commissioned by Tideway for the listed Greenwich Pumping Station in London. This permanent commission responds to site-specific narratives and references the revolutionary impact of the railway and its social and economic influence.
Lubna’s artwork was inspired by the site’s history of railway signalling. The adjacent track, one of the world’s oldest and longest railway viaducts is part of the London & Greenwich Railway, which was London’s first metropolitan railway, connecting London Bridge to Greenwich in 1838.
